This course requires that students be comfortable working with Algebra II level logarithms and scientific notation. If you are not strong in math, you should find some online tutorials, enroll in a short summer course, or get a tutor so that you can practice using logarithms and scientific notation before the start of class.


First-year chemistry is not required for students who are strong in math.
